Invisalign

Invisalign is the leading clear aligner system on the market and has treated over 17 million patients. Some cases can be complete in just 6 months.

Clear aligners are used to straighten the teeth which are discrete and the preferred option over traditional metal braces.

What’s the process?

After your consultation, if you are suitable for clear aligner treatment, Dr Nayan will scan your teeth and send it to Invisalign. He will make a bespoke treatment plan which will show you a simulation of your teeth before and after treatment.

Once you are happy with this, Invisalign will manufacture your aligners and your Invisalign journey will begin!

Dr Nayan will advise that you wear your aligners full time and only remove them to eat and drink anything that isn’t water. He advises 20-22 hours of wear per day which will allow predictive tooth movements. You will see Dr Nayan for regular visits during your Invisalign journey to ensure the teeth are moving correctly and make sure everything is going to plan.

After the Invisalign treatment is completed, Dr Nayan will provide complimentary tooth whitening and make you removable retainers. These should be worn every night for the rest of your life to prevent your teeth from moving back to where they once were!

That’s right, you must wear your retainers for as long as you want straight teeth!
